The Directors of Alcuin Homes have an enviable track record in the delivery of strategic sites, across all developments classes from Brownfield sites through to Greenbelt. With Planning Promotion a key part of our business we have successfully negotiated planning consents on a number of contentious sites over many years.

At present, in excess of 140 acres of land is under promotion at various stages of the planning process covering 13 individual projects ranging in size from under 1 acre to in excess of 30 acres.

Our experience of promoting land and securing planning permissions, coupled with our technical expertise and negotiation skills with key stakeholders such as Local Planning Authorities ensure landowners maximise their asset value.

This 18 acre site was purchased fully unconditionally in 2015 and is currently subject to promotion for residential development through the Calderdale Local Plan.

Lingards Road, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield

Outline planning permission secured for circa 25 dwellings on this 5 acre site.

Soothill Cricket Club, Batley, West Yorkshire

Despite the Urban Greenspace designation, permission was secured for the construction of 36 affordable houses.
